I have Freephoneline with my other line, and it sounded way better. The price is competitive, but the voice quality is trash. I will assume that he was using Signalwire to call me.

It sounded like he was talking far away from the mouthpiece. I could barely hear what he was saying cause the voice quality was distorted and the volume was so low. It's not that I couldn't understand his accent (He had a Canadian accent). I'm in Vancouver, I was talking to a support agent from Signalwire to get my CC verified over the phone and I could barely make out what he was saying. Voip.ms, on the other hand, is much better and HD voice using G722 works well both on wifi and rogers LTE. If I use G729A, it is better but the voice quality sucks. It seems I cannot get a decent conversation due to possible bandwidth issue if I use OPUS or G722. Has anyone found signalwire's voip quality bad - at least from Toronto? I think it is interpreting it as text and you can try putting HTML tags around it? It works, it is about 30s, then I am redirected to voicemail.Ģ) Likely it is the Textable app itself. the link received via Textable is not clickable, not sure if that's a Textable issue or not. the timeout settings doesn't seems to work, it takes a very long time (about 20 rings) until the voicemail message starts no matter how I change the time.Ģ. I'm using my Signalwire DID number as both from: and to: in the exec line.ġ. On SignalWire site, set phone number to handle calls using LaML webhooks, create LaML bin and in number settings : * WHEN A CALL COMES IN: / METHOD: POST Taking what ericw and redpiglet wrote, I managed to have my phone rings for a certain amount of time, then send the caller to my voicemail and receive a sms with the link of the message with this:
